FSC Certification
Forest Stewardship Council™ is the most stringent and the most credible certification system in the world for controlling forest management and forestry product processing trade. It is an independent, non-governmental, non- profit organization established to promote sustainable management of the world’s forests and to solve deforestation due to illegal logging. From the whole production process to consumers, the effectiveness of strict monitoring can control the legalization of the source of wooden products to achieve the goal of protecting forests. FSC™ 's wood products (including paper) are “forest friendly” products.

As the concept of environmental protection and sustainable management becomes more popular, major enterprises around the world have invested in environmental protection and sustainable management. Of course, as a part of the world and a responsible company as Forever Color is, it is also our job to protect the Earth’s resources. In 2022, the company has set up a FSC certification team, and through internal and manufacturer education training, the company has received FSC certification after strict assessment. From procurement to printing production and post-processing procedures, the company abides the strict guideline of FSC in every step of production to be a qualified company that manufactures and supplies FSC products.
Just use recycled paper, why use FSC paper?
1. Recycled paper is most suitable for use on cartons and newsprint. Other high-end products are difficult to manufacture and may cause secondary pollution.2. If the source of recycled paper comes from deforestation of tropical rainforest, it can only slow down the disappearance of forests, but FSC and ensure sustainable management of forests.
3. If the world's paper is changed to recycled paper, recycled pulp will disappear in a short time since paper can only be recycled 5 to 6 times. So there is always the need for new pulp to be added.
4. The percentage control of recycled raw materials used in recycled paper cannot be fully controlled like FSC. For example, in early 2008, 17 out of 24 paper mills in Japan falsely reported the percentage of recycled pulp used in recycled paper.
